Porsche Rolls out New Macan GTS with 360 Horsepower


Porsche recently launched its new Macan GTS at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015. The car’s performance model is touted to be the bridge between the Macan S and the range-topping Macan Turbo with a more powerful punch, upgraded equipment, and sportier styling.

The car is powered with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine geared to deliver360 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The engine is further accompanied with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Additionally, it has the advanced air suspension system which comes inculcated with the Porsche Active Suspension Management which facilitates easy adjustment of the height and stiffness of the damper by the driver.

Outwardly, its unique design elements provide a distinctive visual look and appeal of numerous black exterior accents, both gloss and matte that distinguishes it from all its other Macan variants. Its special set of 20-inch RS spyder design wheels which are painted in satin black. Its cabin hosts sports seats adorned with leather and alcantara, Porsche communication management, an eight-speaker audio system and a host of other components which have been adorned in plush leather.

Even though the sale of new Macan GTS has started in US, its home market at $67,200, it will be available only from March.
